Memorial service for former Wildwood teacher

Beverly Schmidt passed away on Feb. 15.

Devoted to family, community, Cal, Greek Orthodoxy, among other things, his was a long life, well-lived.

A longtime resident of Oakland and Piedmont, Betts was a leader in the local business community.

"Through his dedication and volunteerism, Zac represented the very best of us," said Warren in a statement.

Warren Joseph Middleton coached in Piedmont from 2007 - 2010.

Lynden McLaughlan will be fondly remembered for his love of family and friends, and for his generosity, optimism and boundless energy.
