Retiring city administrator reflects on work, impact in Piedmont

Paul Benoit is most proud of helping bring good staff to the city -- people who are “good, smart and work as a team.”

U.S. Rep. Barbara Lee and newly elected Assemblywoman Buffy Wicks among the event's featured speakers.

The project started in November 2017 with a community meeting, and was developed following feedback, a survey, and more meetings.

Benoit will remain with the City until June 30th and recruitment for a new City Administrator will commence immediately.

Switched license plates from a stolen car resulted in dramatic traffic stop. Driver was cooperative, and police are now looking for the thief.
