Heads up: Construction work on PUSD’s Witter Field renovation project is set to begin Tuesday, June 6. The field will be closed through November 2023. Access and parking on adjacent streets will be affected.
Dog walkers headed to and from Piedmont Park should also take note: The walkway behind the Witter bleachers will shut down for a few months.

Parking restrictions on Palm Drive, El Cerrito, Winsor, and Park View Avenues
Signage was installed on Thursday, June 1, 2023 to display the location of parking restrictions, which will be in place on:
• the 400 block of El Cerrito (ODD side*)
• the 1100 block of Winsor Avenue (even side)
• the 100-200 block of Palm Drive (even side)
• 1159 Winsor Avenue
• 255 Park View Avenue.
These restrictions will be in place 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. every weekday through June 30. The schedule for July parking restrictions will be announced by June 24.PUSD to provide monthly updates on construction activity and parking restrictions
PUSD is committed to providing periodic community updates. Monthly communication will forecast construction activity and parking restrictions on a going forward basis. Updates will be provided by no later than the 24th of each month for the following month.The Piedmont Unified School District (PUSD) and the City of Piedmont recognize that construction is inconvenient and disruptive. Patience and understanding are appreciated as Witter Field is upgraded to benefit the whole community.

I am curious to know how the contractor is going to safely dispose all worn out turf… is it recycled?
