Construction crews have been busy working on two new retaining walls on city streets. The City Council approved $610,000 in August last year for major repairs and improvements to the two retaining walls — one along Oakland Avenue at Sunnyside Avenue and the other along San Carlos Avenue at Oakland Avenue.

And a reminder that utility work on Magnolia Ave. in front of the high school will disrupt traffic in that area this week.
