Over the past few months several ICB Building artists have been profiled here in the column “In The Artist’s Studio,”, including Bibby Gignilliat, Sharon Paster and Piedmont artist Paula Valenzuela. Twice per year, the ICB Building opens its doors to the public for Open Studios.

The ICB Building is a historic building constructed in 1942 as part of the WWII ship building industry. Today the building houses nearly 100 artists, and most of them will have their studios open for your visit during Open Studios.
If viewing (and/or buying) art gives you an appetite, wander over to nearby Fish for sustainable seafood eaten at picnic tables in this bare-bones waterside shack.
