Celebrate the best home improvement projects in Piedmont — and get inspired for your next home renovation project
Each year, the Planning Commission recognizes a small number of exemplary projects completed in the past year to receive a coveted Design Award. The gala offers an opportunity for community members to learn more about the projects selected for recognition, meet the contractors and design professionals who made them possible, and hear directly from property owners about their experience.
Design & Sustainability Awards Gala
Wednesday, May 14 @ 5:30 p.m.
Piedmont Community Hall, 711 Highland Avenue
Projects selected for awards reflect the highest level of design excellence among all that have come before the Commission for review. To be eligible for consideration, a project must conform to Piedmont’s design and planning guidelines and must have completed construction in the previous calendar year.
2025 will mark the second year of a new dimension to this long-standing event – Sustainability Awards, which celebrate property owners who have incorporated green elements like heat pumps, solar panels, and greywater systems into their homes. Sustainability Award recipients will be highlighted in a forthcoming announcement.
