Giving Campaign Chairs Kim Hunter and Catie Osborn deliver flamingos to an early donor.

The Piedmont Education Foundation’s Giving Campaign committee is thanking donors with pop-up displays of some pink-feathered friends. The temporary flamingo flocks are showing up around town and before you know it, flying off to their next destination.

The annual Giving Campaign kicked off on Sept. 19; it’s the largest fundraiser for Piedmont schools. Last year PEF was able to donate over $3 million to support certificated staff salaries. wellness and college and career development, classified staff salaries, professional development, classroom supplies, and curriculum development, DEI, and athletics.
