In an update on Sept. 26, PUSD’s Director of Facilities Pete Palmer said the completion date for the Witter Field construction project was being pushed back a month from Dec. 1 to Jan. 8, 2024. Palmer said EBMUD work on a 54″ aqueduct that runs under the field caused the delay, and that the January date depends on the weather cooperating.
PUSD hosted a public meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. in the Wildwood Elementary School auditorium to discuss the ongoing renovation with Verde Design civil engineer Devin Conway, Piedmont Public Works Director Daniel Gonzales, PUSD Director of Facilities Pete Palmer, and PUSD Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Hawn.
