The Board of Education approved a tentative agreement between PUSD and the district’s classified employees at a special meeting on Nov. 28, according to the school district.
The agreement gives CSEA employees (para educators, office and custodial staff, maintenance workers, food service workers, health clerks, nurses and other essential district employees) a 7.5 % salary increase plus a one time bonus of $1,500 this school year. PUSD has also agreed to increase its contribution to employee health benefits from ongoing Measure H funds starting in January 2023, settling a source of contention from earlier this fall.
