Art, travel talk on tap at PCA this weekend

The Piedmont Center for the Arts' lease with the city expired in June 2021

Michael Stehr art exhibit, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

In his newest exhibit, local artist Michael Stehr presents The Other Side of the Fence: Considering Green and the Power of Color. The exhibition includes 30 new paintings in which the color green has an important role in the impact of the painting. Paintings from prior shows also will be exhibited. Art is available for purchase. The gallery will be open Saturdays and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. until November 21.

Where to Travel in 2022, Don George, 4 p.m.

Piedmont resident Don George, the SF Examiner’s former Travel Editor and currently editor at large for National Geographic Travel, will read from his most recent book, The Way of Wanderlust: The Best Travel Writing of Don George. He will also show photos from some of his favorite and most exotic travel destinations. Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase following a Q&A session with the audience. 

**SPECIAL NOTE: All events at Piedmont Center for the Arts will require photo ID and valid proof of vaccination for entry, as well as proper masking indoors**
