Adoption Story: We found Mickey through Instagram – a DM to Mickey’s foster family before he was posted on Hopalong Rescue’s website during peak “COVID-puppy” time. Mickey and his siblings were found by the side of the road in California’s Central Valley. We went to visit the puppies at their foster home in Pleasant Hill and fell in love with Mickey instantly. All three kids trained and raised Mickey last summer – they did a great job!
Likes: Mickey loves the beach, cream cheese, chewing on almost anything, and his pal Allagash, who lives across the street.
Dislikes: Like his owners, he has a hard time leaving playdates!
Interesting Facts: When Mickey greets an unfamiliar dog on the street or in the park, he lies down in wait until the other dog gives him the “okay” to proceed.
Anything else? Mickey has been a fantastic addition to our family!
