Mindful Parenting in A Digital Age: A Family Sanity Special Event

January 30, 2019 @ 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm

$20

Are you a stressed-out parent?  Is your teen or young adult beyond “challenging”?  Is part of the problem social media/gaming/internet addiction?

Don’t worry, you are facing the same issues as thousands of parents these days.

To help us come up with better ways to deal with how these issues are impacting our children’s lives, as well as our own, Berkeley parenting consultant and coach Claudia L’Amoreaux will speak at a special event for Family Sanity on Wednesday, January 30 at 7pm at a private home in the Crocker Highlands district of Oakland.

  • She will discuss how mindfulness techniques can help young people create the ability to reflect upon and self-monitor their use of digital devices. Mindfulness training can also help to create a better balance of friendship and technology.
  • In addition, L’Amoreaux will talk about how parents can develop less stressful relationships with their children in regard to technology issues.

Tickets: Available for $20 per person via: www.familysanity.org.  Seating is limited, so please buy your ticket today.
