Rec Dept opens parks, but has some new rules

Now that most of our parks are open, help keep them open and everyone safe!

  • Wear a face covering when around others (13 yrs and older)
  • Practice social distancing
  • No group sports with people outside of your household
  • Don’t share sports equipment with people outside your household
  • Keep your dog on a leash

Kennelly Skate Park Opens Monday

Skate Park Has New COVID-19 Hours
The City of Piedmont will re-open Kennelly Skate Park on Monday, May 11th. The new hours for the Skate Park will be 1-4 pm, Monday-Sunday. Skaters must wear helmets and protective gear. 

Please note the following COVID-19 rules:
All Skaters must follow rules and directions from Staff or they will be asked to leave. 

  • SOCIAL DISTANCE: Stay 6 feet from others at all times
  • FACE COVERING: If you 13 years old or older you must bring a face covering and wear when not skating and around other people
  • KEEP IT CLEAN: Bring and use hand sanitizer or wipes, cough/sneeze into your elbow
  • BRING YOUR OWN STUFF: Use your own water bottle, skate board, helmet and don’t share anything
  • DON’T HANG OUT: Enjoy skating and then head out
  • AVOID TOUCHING SHARED AREAS: Benches, gates, rails
  • ONE HOUR LIMIT: If the Skate Park gets busy staff will enforce a 1-hour time limit
