Piedmont Scout Council, BSA launches a year-long celebration with a virtual auction, March 17-25, and the opportunity to honor someone special and 100th annual recognition dinner.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of Piedmont Scouts and its contributions to the community over 100 years. Chartered on March 21, 1921, the Piedmont Scout Council is one of the largest youth development organizations in Piedmont. Its focus is character-building and teaching important life skills in leadership, citizenship, scholarship, sportsmanship and outdoorsmanship.
Piedmont Scouts have evolved through the years and support the pursuits of over 1,000 boys and girls, ages 5-17 across a variety of programs—Cub Scouts, Scouts, Explorers, Venturers and Piedmont Language School.
Registration is free and open to the community. The auction will offer a variety of items from beautiful vacation homes, food and wine, themed gift baskets and more. The online auction, bricks and virtual recognition dinner can all be accessed HERE or through www.piedmontbsa.org
