‘An Education is Forever: Licensed to Give’ | May 1, 6:00–11:00 p.m. | Bloc15, Oakland
The Piedmont Education Foundation (PEF) is pleased to announce that its 2026 Spring Fling Gala will take place on Friday, May 1, from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. at Bloc15 in Oakland. This year’s event will transform the venue into a glamorous, 007 inspired experience, bringing Beach, Havens, and Wildwood parents together for an evening of intrigue, celebration, and impact.
Guests can expect an immersive atmosphere, lively entertainment, curated cuisine, and opportunities to invest directly in Piedmont’s public elementary schools. “This is one mission our entire community can rally behind,” said Gala Co-Chair Jenny Miller. “The Gala is not only a memorable night out, it’s one of the most important ways we fund the programs that make our schools exceptional.”
Co-Chair Zeena Fakoury emphasized the role families play in the event’s success. “Every great operation depends on strong partners. Parent sponsorship is the most powerful way to maximize the impact of this evening and ensure our schools continue to thrive.”
“We are thrilled to host this year’s Gala at Bloc15,” added Co-Chair Caroline Gershwin. “It’s a stunning space that perfectly captures the sophistication and energy of our Bond theme. We can’t wait to welcome the community for a night that’s both fun and deeply meaningful.”
Early-bird tickets are now available and expected to sell quickly. In addition to purchasing tickets, families and local businesses are encouraged to participate through sponsorship opportunities that directly amplify the event’s fundraising impact.
