New this year! Try your hand at apple cider-making at Sunday’s Harvest Festival. Bring your own apples — picked from your backyard tree, purchased at the store, or gathered as bruised fruit from your local grocer — all apples are welcome. This hands-on experience is made possible thanks to Piedmont resident Richard Sykes, who is generously donating the use of a handcrafted apple press he built himself.
If you bring a bounty of apples and would like to take some home to enjoy later, make sure to bring a sealable container on Sunday.
