Piedmont’s annual Harvest Festival returns for the 27th year on Sunday, September 21 for a day of  food, music, art, and community traditions throughout Piedmont Park: 

27th Annual Harvest Festival 
Sunday, September 21, 11am-3pm 
Piedmont Park 

New this year, a cider press will be available on site for the first time. Bring apples and press your own fresh cider to enjoy at the festival or take home! 

Edibles Contest: The heart of the harvest 

The Edibles Contest has been part of the Harvest Festival since the beginning and remains its centerpiece. Each year, the creativity and talent of Piedmont’s community shines as tables fill with homemade breads, pies, cookies, jams, and homegrown produce. 

To enter: 

  • Download the entry form at piedmont.ca.gov/EdiblesContest 
  • Label your item 
  • Drop your entry off at Piedmont Community Hall between 7:30 and 10am on September 21
Festival highlights 

New additions from 2024 – watermelon eating contest, expanded farmers market, and Line 51 beer  bus will return, joining longstanding festival favorites: 

  • Music & Main Stage: Jazz performances throughout the day and watermelon eating contest  at 1pm 
  • Art Show at the Tea House, featuring work from Piedmont artists. (Want to exhibit? Contact  Jane Reed at (510) 654-2670) 
  • Piedmont Education Foundation Carnival: fun and games benefitting Piedmont schools
  • Farmer’s Market: Fresh produce from Village Market, veggie starts, flowers, local honey,  small batch desserts, and more 
  • Food Trucks & Beer Bus: Seven food trucks plus Oakland’s Line 51 Brewing
