Around eighty residents stopped by a city Open House on Thursday night to chat with staff about wildfire resilience, home electrification, Moraga Canyon housing development plans, road improvements, and other projects.
Information about these ongoing or future city projects was displayed on placards around the room, and visitors were able to ask questions of senior planning and building department staff about the different initiatives
“We were pleased with the turnout and to have the opportunity to provide the community with information on several policy development projects we are working on,” said Planning and Building Director Kevin Jackson.
The Aug. 21 Open House is the latest public event the city has held to inform residents about multiple policy development initiatives it has undertaken. The city says it plans to provide information on ongoing projects at the Harvest Festival on Sept. 21.
