A popular yoga destination for many Piedmont, Oakland, and Berkeley residents has had to call it quits. In an email to clients, the studio’s founder Kimberley Leo said the “compounding pressures of closing our Berkeley location, our transition to a teacher employee model due to AB5, and now COVID-19 have put the business and community under too much stress. I do not see a sustainable future for us and must make the choice to close this chapter.”
