Letter to the Editor | A heartfelt thank you

As Election Day approaches, I find myself reflecting on the past several months and feeling incredibly grateful for the kindness, encouragement, and support I have received throughout this campaign.

I don’t yet know how the election will turn out, but I do know how fortunate I am to be part of such a wonderful community. Whether you volunteered your time, put up a yard sign, wrote a letter of support, knocked on doors, made a contribution, or simply offered a kind word along the way, please know how much it has meant to me.

What I will remember most about this experience is not the campaigning itself, but the people. I have been fortunate to meet so many wonderful people along the way and have been touched by the generosity of friends and neighbors who opened their homes, shared their thoughts, offered advice, and gave so generously of their time and energy. You have reminded me of the special spirit of Piedmont and what makes this community such a wonderful place to call home.

Whatever the outcome, I feel incredibly lucky to have had your support and friendship. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making this journey so meaningful.

With gratitude,
Nancy Beninati
