Join your neighbors for a new weekly singing group starting Tuesday, November 10. The newest addition to the Piedmont Recreation Department’s adult programming lineup, Piedmont Singin’ 4 Fun is a free, volunteer-led weekly meetup for adults who enjoy singing — no experience or musical ability required.
Everyone is welcome, including those who haven’t sung in years or who have never sung with a group before.
Piedmont Singin’ 4 Fun
- Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to noon, starting Nov. 10
- 801 Magnolia Avenue
- Free
You don’t need to read music or have a trained voice to participate. Whether you’re a confident singer or just enjoy singing for fun, you’re welcome. The focus is enjoying music together.
The group will start with a collection of about 10 easy-to-sing songs, adding more to the repertoire over time. Expect a variety of upbeat, positive music, with song sheets provided so everyone can follow along.

Piedmont Singin’ 4 Fun joins Walking on Wednesdays and monthly book club, movie showings, and mahjong nights as part of the Recreation Department’s growing lineup of recurring adult activities organized and led by community volunteers. This collaboration with the community has been a critical part of the Department’s success in expanding adult programming in recent years.
These opportunities and more will be on display at the third annual Piedmont Adult Recreation Expo on Sunday, Nov. 15 from 2-4 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building. This free event brings together local classes, activity groups, and civic organizations under a single roof so community members can see the breadth of what’s available here in Piedmont and speak directly with organizers.
Piedmont Singin’ 4 Fun will be among the activities represented at the Expo. For the full list of exhibitors, visit piedmont.ca.gov/AdultRecExpo.
