I am writing to encourage my fellow Piedmonters to vote for Nancy Beninati for City Council. I had the pleasure of working with Nancy when we served on the Board of the League of Women Voters of Piedmont. I found her to be hardworking, intelligent, and someone who gets things done.
Nancy’s public service to both the Piedmont community and the State of California, through her civil rights work at the Department of Justice, has given her valuable experience to serve on the City Council. Over the past few weeks, I have read the candidate questions and answers published in local news outlets, and Nancy’s responses have been thoughtful, practical, and grounded in a deep understanding of the issues facing our city. She knows our community and brings the experience and skills that will serve us well.
I am excited to vote for Nancy Beninati for Piedmont City Council on November 3, and I hope you will too.
