As a Piedmont resident since 1987 and active member of the community, I am proud to support Nancy Beninati for City Council. Nancy and I worked closely in the League of Women Voters of Piedmont when she was President, and I have seen firsthand her dedication, thoughtful leadership, and commitment to public service.
I also witnessed Nancy present her work on the Racial and Identity Profiling Act (RIPA) to then-Attorney General Xavier Becerra at a RIPA Board meeting. I was impressed by her knowledge and her commitment to advancing equality and justice. Her work reflects not only her professional experience but also her commitment to fairness, accountability, and making our government work for everyone.
She brings that same commitment to her service in Piedmont. Nancy understands our community, listens to others, and approaches challenging issues with care and integrity. Her years of public service, combined with her knowledge of the issues in Piedmont, make her exceptionally well qualified to serve on our City Council.
Please join me in voting for Nancy. Piedmont would be fortunate to have her experience, values, and dedication working on behalf of everyone.
