I very enthusiastically support Tom Ramsey’s re-election to the Piedmont City Council. Tom and I met the usual Piedmont way, through our kids; Tom has lived in Piedmont for 30 years with his wife and has two daughters who attended Piedmont schools. He has volunteered on our Planning Commission for seven years, including two as chair. He’s a practicing architect and vice president of a national construction project management company.
Over the many years we have volunteered together, leading low-income housing repair projects with Piedmont Community Service Crew students, I have become increasingly convinced of his thoughtfulness and commitment to our community.
Tom is even-tempered, a good problem-solver who works well with others, understands Piedmont, and gets stuff done. He will bring an open, fact-based, and logical approach, along with an appreciation for maintaining and improving our amazing town of Piedmont.
