Henry Stein scored seven goals to help lead Piedmont High School’s boys water polo team to a 15-8 win over host Lick-Wilmerding-San Francisco on Oct. 13.
The win lifted the Highlanders to 7-8 on the season.
Rylan Patty scored five times for Piedmont. Graham Smith had two goals and Raffi Banin added one.
Johnny Doherty had four goals for the Tigers. Elliott Matschoss, Bear Thornburg, Archer Feldman, and Braden Pollock had the other goals for Lick-Wilmerding.
The Tigers had an early 2-1 lead thanks to two goals by Doherty. The Highlanders scored nine of the next 11 goals to take control of the match.
Piedmont is scheduled to host Bishop O’Dowd on Oct. 20.
