Still time to register for fall middle school tennis clinics with Jim Landes

Fall middle school tennis clinics that start Sept. 8 still have some openings, says tennis coach Jim Landes. High school freshmen can also sign up for the sessions.

The clinics teach the fundamentals of tennis: strokes (forehands, backhands, volleys and serves) plus ball control and court positioning. “We drill, play games, and have fun,” Landes says.

The clinics run at the Corey Reich Tennis Center on:

Wednesdays: 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (Beginner)

Tuesday/Thursdays: 7:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. (Intermediate/Advanced)

Register HERE.

Landes says there’s flexibility around the sessions: if a child is a beginner but can only attend on a Tues/Thu or if a child is intermediate or advanced and cannot attend on Tues/Thu, the clinics can still accommodate the player. Landes said he just needs to be notified in advance
