After his August presentation to Piedmont City Council regarding public safety concerns related to the increase in unsafet e-bike/e-moto usage by young people in town, Police Chief Frederick Shavies released a friendly public service message on the department’s social media accounts that’s racking up views. He also has a message for parents: make sure you understand the capabilities of any e-bike you purchase for your child.
