A rally in Binks Gym on Friday morning marked the beginning of Homecoming Weekend. The gymnasium was awash in purple as classes enthusiastically competed for bragging rights in a variety of on-court games. Harvey the Highlander mascot’s path to the gym — a video montage of him running over a bridge and through the campus — was displayed on the school’s new digital scoreboard.
The Highlanders football team plays Aragon at Witter Field at 7 p.m. and the Homecoming Dance will take place on Saturday in Binks Gym.
