Join the League of Women Voters of Piedmont (LWVP) on Friday, Sept. 29 for a candidate forum. It will feature candidates who will be on the ballot for Piedmont City Council in the November 3, 2026, General Election.
The forum will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council chambers and in overflow space as needed (120 Vista Ave.) and will include the following five candidates running for three positions: Nancy Beninati, Sunny Bostrom-Fleming, Adam Hundt, Tom Ramsey, and Bill Reichle.

Registration is required to attend the live forum, as space is limited. The forum will also be broadcast and recorded on KCOM. After the forum, the recording will be available on LWVP’s website, on LWVP’s YouTube channel, and through the websites of KCOM and the City.
The forum will be moderated by a League representative and will include questions from the public. Prior to the forum, until 5 p.m. on Sept. 22 , voters may submit questions by filling out the online form on the event description pages on LWVP’s website. Questions will be screened by a team of League members to ensure a range of topics and issues.

Ballot drop-off locations will open Oct. 6. If you have moved or changed your party or your name, you can update your registration online. The last day to register to vote is Oct. 19.
There are three ways to vote in Alameda County: 1) mail your ballot, 2) drop off your ballot at a secure ballot drop-box in the county, or 3) vote in person or drop off your ballot at any Vote Center in the county.
The list of Vote Centers will be updated as the Registrar of Voters confirms the sites. There will likely be a drop-box in central Piedmont next to the mailbox near the Piedmont Community Church. There will also likely be a Vote Center in Piedmont at the Veterans Memorial Building at 401 Highland Avenue.
A limited number of additional early 10-day in-person Alameda County Vote Centers will also be open starting Oct. 24.
A limited number of additional early 4-day in-person Alameda County Vote Centers will also be open starting Oct. 31.
Vote by mail ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day.
