On Friday, the City of Piedmont will host a brief ceremony to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks, a defining moment in our nation’s history. We will gather to remember the lives lost and honor the service of first responders past and present.
Following brief remarks from Fire Chief David Brannigan and Mayor Betsy Smegal Andersen, we will stand for a minute of silent reflection.
Community members are invited to join Piedmont firefighters, police, councilmembers, and city officials in this remembrance. The ceremony will be held in front of the fire station and will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.
