Children’s Fairyland to host ‘Drawn Together’ art party for adults on Sept. 25

Children's Fairyland

Children’s Fairyland announces the return of its “artsiest party of the year” Drawn Together on Friday, Sept. 25, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. For this special evening, Fairyland opens exclusively to adults ages 21 and over, offering a rare opportunity for grown-ups to explore the magical world of Fairyland, a place typically reserved for children and their families. Tickets are on sale now!

The beloved storybook theme park will transform into a grown-ups-only wonderland for Drawn Together, an intimate evening of live art, cocktails, and creative connection. The 21-and-over event invites art lovers to watch more than 50 local artists and industry professionals create original, Fairyland-inspired artwork live and in real time throughout the park. As the night winds down, the energy shifts into a wildly spirited art sale, where guests can take home a piece created that very evening for just $50.

“It’s an open-air art gallery meets a bar meets a theme park meets a party meets an art sale,” said Fairyland’s Artistic Director Shannon Taylor of the one-of-a-kind event, which blends the whimsy of Fairyland’s storybook setting with a full slate of adult entertainment.

The Evening’s Entertainment

Drawn Together is an adults-only playground, featuring cocktails, food trucks, live art being made in real time by local visual artists, puppet shows, live music, tarot card readings, artists meet & greets, an infamously spirited art sale, and an evening showing of Fairyland’s current puppet production, “The Three Little Pigs in the 1920s”. Guests can explore Fairyland’s iconic storybook sets, from Willie the Whale to the Alice in Wonderland card maze. Tot-sized rides and animal areas will be closed for the evening.

High Art. Low Price.

Guests can mingle with some of the Bay Area’s most talented artists, watch a masterpiece take shape before their eyes, and participate in a gamified art sale at the end of the night for a chance to purchase one of the evening’s artworks for only $50. Guests who would prefer a guaranteed piece of the art are welcome to purchase a Patron Ticket. Patron Ticket holders will receive a numbered, limited-edition Children’s Fairyland print created exclusively for Drawn Together 2026, along with early entry to the event — giving them the chance to avoid the lines, speak with artists before the crowds arrive, and secure a piece of art early, all while making a donation to Children’s Fairyland.

Supporting Fairyland’s Mission

Proceeds from Drawn Together will support the people, programs, and spaces that make Children’s Fairyland magic possible year-round — from free field trips for under-resourced communities to hands-on workshops that bring creativity to life for young visitors.
