Town Hall with U.S. Congresswoman Lateefah Simon on Aug. 26

U.S. Congresswoman Lateefah Simon will be holding a Town Hall for constituents in Piedmont on Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. “I will be discussing my recent work in Congress, federal funding I have secured for our district, and how I’m fighting back against attacks to immigrant communities and our civil rights,” she said in an email announcement.

The event will be livestreamed on her social media, the email said.

If you are interested in attending in person, you must RSVP here for the meeting location and other details.

Simon was elected to serve the 12th district of California (Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, Piedmont, and San Leandro) in November 2024. The seat was previously held by Barbara Lee, now mayor of Oakland.
