This Fourth of July is Piedmont Community Service Crew’s annual Pancake Breakfast, a decades-old tradition, from 8 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in Veterans Hall. Each year, the Piedmont Community Service Crew (PCSC) members sell tickets, cook, and serve pancakes, sausages and fresh fruit, as well as coffee and juice to our Piedmont community before they head out to the parade, all to raise money in support of PCSC’s community service programs.
PCSC is one of the coed Venturing Crews of the Piedmont Council Scouting America. This year, PCSC is in its 22nd year. In the past year, PCSC has hosted over 100 community service events primarily in the Bay Area. Service projects have included cooking and feeding the food insecure, building tiny houses for homeless youth, and building an info kiosk at Native Plant Nursery. While based in Piedmont, PCSC is open to all youth in the Bay Area. It is a youth-led organization that empowers its members to find passion and purpose through service in the broader community. In addition to giving back, PCSC encourages youth leadership development and independence, in a social environment that promotes teamwork, learning and teaching others.
Breakfast tickets will be on sale (cash, PayPal or Zelle) at the door or in advance via online form
Adult tickets are $15 (ages 15+), youth tickets are $10 (ages 3-14), and children under three can eat for free. We hope to see you there!
Special thanks to Piedmont Grocery and Village Market for their generous donations that make the breakfast possible.
