Age: 5 years old
Breed: Mutt (mostly pit bull, German shepherd, and husky)
Adoption story: During the pandemic, we wanted to rescue a puppy and during our search, we found Gracie and the rest of her litter. All the other puppies were jumping up and down when we met them — except for her. Gracie was the calmest pup in the litter and was just sitting in the middle of the pen, watching us. That’s when we knew she was the one!
Likes: Gracie absolutely loves being outside! We take her on hikes almost every weekend and she always wants to be in our backyard sleeping in the sun. She also loves to run and be chased by both dogs and humans alike.
Dislikes: Gracie gets really scared around loud noises from things like fireworks and loud cars. She’s also scared of walking on hardwood floors.
Interesting facts: Gracie is a bit of an escape artist — she’s escaped from our house on multiple occasions. Most recently, she escaped from our backyard and was found running around Piedmont Park playing with other dogs.
