Ice cream will be available for purchase at the Mr. Softee truck, which will be parked outside the pool all afternoon.
Splash Bash activities will be grouped into four timed sessions to maximize participation opportunities for swimmers of all ages and abilities throughout the day and provide a predictable schedule for attending families.
The pool will be open exclusively for registered Splash Bash activities on Saturday, with no open or lap swim. Regular hours and programming will resume Sunday.

Regular pool hours resume Sunday
As warmer weather brings more visitors to the new pool, the activity pool may occasionally reach capacity during peak afternoon hours. When the activity pool nears capacity, priority for admission is given to annual passholders and drop-in admission may be temporarily paused until space becomes available.
Families planning to use the activity pool, especially those with young children, may want to visit in the morning or other non-peak times when possible. Community members can also call the pool at (510) 420-3090 before their visit to confirm whether drop-in admission is currently available.
Capacity has not typically been an issue in the competition pool, which continues to have more room available for lap swim and other uses.
