Adoption story: Me and my family drove 8 hours to Hazel when she was just 8 months old. We bought her from a breeder because she was very friendly and had a cute white heart on her head. We spent an entire car ride worrying that she would throw up on us. She is surprisingly a very good car dog and has never thrown up in the car.
Likes: Hazel likes to lick people and go to the beach. She loves greeting people at our front door with a toy. She loves long walks and always knows how to find her way home.
Dislikes: Hazel doesn’t like being stuck in one spot and might even be claustrophobic. She doesn’t like the heat and would much rather be in the snow.
Interesting facts: Hazel has very human eyes. Her eyes are big and brown and seem to have many layers of emotion. She will lay down and if you look into her eyes then she goes in for a kiss. If you stare at her from across the room she looks back at you and gets excited and darts towards you. When she is happy her eyes really light up, but when she knows she did something bad — like eating food off the table — her eyes go into regret mode and she begins to look very sad.
