Adoption Story: Annie is a pandemic puppy. We decided it was a great time to get a dog, but so did everyone else during that time. So we added our name to a long list and patiently waited 6 months for her to be born. One of our favorite pandemic memories was visiting Annie and her little brothers and sisters — by timed appointment, with masks, and only our family could be with the puppies. We spent 45 unforgettable minutes alone in a room full of little white puppies (see photo, and we will never know which one of those is Annie).
Likes: Annie likes mail carriers! She also likes sleeping in the sun, getting brushed, and sniffing every plant in Piedmont. Lastly, she loves her neighbors, as well as their houses with open front doors!
Dislikes: Annie dislikes noisy blow dryers and suitcases. Annie also doesn’t like trips to the vet.
Interesting Facts: Since Annie arrived at our house we have been lucky to have mail carriers who love dogs and love to deliver treats along with the mail. Annie runs to the top of our front steps when she hears the sound of the mail truck. When the mail arrives she has learned to use our front gate for support and she will reach way up to give a high five to the mail carrier in return for treats.
