Who’s that Good Dog?

Family: Russell, Stephanie, Bayard, Graham, Andrew, and Paige Young

Dog Name: Scout

Age: 10

Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Adoption Story: We got Scout and his sister on Valentine’s Day! Half of our family went to get them both from Georgia. We were so excited, we stayed up until midnight waiting for our family to come home with them!
Likes: Scout loves to go on adventures. He also, of course, loves to chase birds and squirrels. Additionally, Scout enjoys finding strange places to sleep and strange things to sleep on. Along with this, he will always be willing to eat whatever food he can get!

Dislikes: Scout dislikes fireworks. He also dislikes taking baths. Lastly, he gets lonely and sad when he is away from Russell or his sister, Biscuit!

Interesting Facts: Scout is scared of fireworks. When he was a puppy, he got so scared of them that one time he found a way to escape our house. We were so nervous, as we couldn’t find him and began to think we were never going to see him again. It turns out that at the time, we lived in Florida and Scout had learned the path to get to the beach (which he loves!), so he had gone there. We luckily got him back, and now we always make sure that he is safe/away from any fireworks!
