A warm weekend and a (possibly) wet week ahead

The weekend will bring weather conditions that are warmer than normal, according to the National Weather Service. But rain and increasing breezes are expected to arrive next week, the service reported.

Sunny skies are forecast for Saturday, with a high near 74. Temperatures on Sunday could be as high as 78 degrees, according to the weather service. Throughout the weekend west northwest winds of 3 to 7 mph are expected.

The warm spell is likely to dip by Tuesday, with forecasters anticipating partially overcast conditions and a daytime high near 63 degrees.

Tuesday will also see a chance of showers. On Wednesday rain is likely, mainly after 11 a.m., according to the weather service. A sprinkling of rain could return Thursday, but Friday is expected to be sunny with daytime highs around 70.
