Winter storms are back but spring has made itself known around town. A walk through Piedmont Park on a rainy Tuesday morning traced rushing water in Bushy Dell Creek and — good news for the Witter Field upgrade last year — no standing water on the high school field as was once the case during heavy rain.
It will be a quiet week in local parks as Piedmont schools are on winter break and many families typically head to the mountains or get out of town.
