The Highlanders had an opportunity in the 70th minute, when Stephanie Lee got a touch on a ball with her head as it headed toward the right post but goalkeeper Cassidy Berg made the save.

The Trojans are now 4-4-1, 1-1 on the season. Piedmont is next scheduled to play at home against Alameda on Jan. 16 and will host San Leandro on Jan. 20.
