Who’s that Good Dog?

Family: Stella, Sebastian, Scarlett, Tom, April, Devan and Ian Joseph (as well as kitten siblings Maverick and Mabel)

Name: Moose

Age: 1 year

Breed: German short haired Pointer, Chocolate lab and Doberman Pinscher (aka Pointador)

Adoption story: After scouring the media (Instagram) we found a Pointador breeder in Arizona. When we met the puppies, one in particular was very engaging, friendly, and super playful. Of course, despite our meticulous planning to arrive home on time, he happened to be the largest puppy, and he couldn’t fit in the carrier that we had purchased for the trip. After a few mishaps (a trip to the local pet store for a new carrier, a missed flight home, and failing to video the kids’ first interaction), Moose became the newest member of the Joseph family.

Likes: Moose’s favorite person is dad. He also loves peanut butter, cheese, vegetables, lounging in the sun, squirrels, birds, super long walks, belly rubs and his kitten siblings.

Dislikes: Baths, interrupted naps

Interesting facts: Moose absolutely adores carrots. Although his breed isn’t widely known for liking vegetables, Moose’s ears perk right up and he will run up to you and stand on your feet once he hears the sound of the vegetable peeler. He waits eagerly for you to give him a treat or the carrot.
