Piedmont Play School (PPS) is partnering with Alameda County Toys for Tots to help bring holiday cheer to local children in need.
“Even though the future of Piedmont Play School is uncertain, we feel strongly about contributing to the community,” says PPS Board Member Sandy Fedor. The City of Piedmont is ending PPS’s residency in the building that Piedmont residents built for the school, making this year’s tradition of giving back especially meaningful.
“Tangible giving opportunities like this help our children learn, in a hands-on way, what it means to care for others. Those are the values that have always guided PPS,” adds Fedor. All donations will go directly to Toys for Tots, which distributes gifts to families who might otherwise go without.
Piedmont Play School welcomes donations from all members of the community. Together, families, neighbors and friends can help make the season brighter for children across the East Bay.
Community members are invited to drop off new, unwrapped toys in the barrels in front of the school Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. through December 12, 2025.
PPS is located at 401 Hampton Road, on Hampton Field beside the tennis courts.
