Following a sold out run of its debut at the Alan Harvey Theater at Piedmont High School last year, Berkeley City Ballet is returning to Piedmont for its 51st annual production of the Nutcracker December 20th at 1:00 and 5:00pm.
BCB is proud to present one of the East Bay’s few traditional, full-length productions of the Nutcracker. Get swept away with Clara on her journey with the Nutcracker Prince through the whirling snowflakes to the enchanting Land of the Sweets.
For half a century, BCB has been a beacon of classical ballet training and artistry in the East Bay. Established in 1974, BCB’s studio on Dwight Way in South Berkeley has become an enduring part of the East Bay’s cultural fabric, nurturing young dancers and providing the community with performances that bring the beauty of ballet to life.
