Piedmont Middle School will present the musical Cats: Young Actors’ Edition October 24-26. With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cats is based on Old Possum’s Book Of Practical Cats by T.S. Eliot. Memorable songs like “Macavity: The Mystery Cat,” “The Rum Tum Tugger,” “Mr. Mistoffelees,” and the iconic “Memory.” 50 middle school students make up the cast of Cats. The show runs about 1.5 hours, including intermission, and is appropriate for the entire family.
