The Blotter | Male driver arrested for suspected DUI

Incident at Grand and Mandana

A male driver was pulled over and arrested on suspicion of DUI early in the morning of September 11. The vehicle was pulled over around 3:27 a.m. near Grand Avenue and Mandana Boulevard.

The driver requested a blood test. He was taken to Santa Rita Jail in Dublin. His vehicle was towed.


On September 6, a silver 2021 Honda Civic was reported stolen on Mesa Avenue. The victim said the vehicle was taken some time between 6 p.m. on September 2 to 6 a.m. on September 6. There was no suspect information according to Piedmont Police Commander Brandi Marin-Morris.


A resident reported a shattered glass sliding door and a possible break-in on September 9. The report came in at 2:53 p.m. There is no reported loss nor further information, according to Commander Marin-Morris.
