The Blotter | Gun reportedly pulled on man on Kingston Ave.

A man pulled a gun on another person when the latter was trying to get his motorcycle, according to a report to the Piedmont Police Department. The incident happened Aug. 18 at 2:41 p.m. on Kingston Avenue, according to the police log. The victim was uncooperative, according to Piedmont Police Commander Brandi Marin-Morris, and there is no further information.

On Aug. 21, a report came in of someone trying to steal tools from a truck on Blair Avenue. A silver Honda was reported to be associated with the incident according to the police log, which reported the call at 11:06 a.m. No loss was reported, according to the log. Commander Marin-Morris said there was no further information and a report is pending.

Around 2 p.m. on Aug. 19, three calls came in reporting possible gunshots. The calls came from Manor Drive, Grand Avenue and York Drive. Commander Marin-Morris said no further information was available.

A driver was arrested for DUI on Aug. 18 after being pulled over on Pleasant Valley Avenue. The police log showed field sobriety tests were administered at 2:05 a.m. The driver was taken to Santa Rita Jail in Dublin and was administered a blood test. The vehicle was towed.
