Korsa Musical Theater, the Bay Area’s premiere musical theater training company, concludes its 20th anniversary season with Rodgers and Hammerstein classic, Oklahoma!. The production runs July 18–27 at the Pinole Valley High School Theater.

On the day of the barn dance, two love triangles cause merriment and turmoil: farm-girl Laurey and cowboy Curly’s budding romance is threatened by the brooding ranch-hand Jud, and fun-loving Ado Annie must choose between her sweet-but-simple boyfriend and a suave merchant. With a heart as big as the Great Plains, and filled with classic songs and characters, Oklahoma! is grand, romantic, and full of hope.

Oklahoma! features a cast of 33 of the Bay Area’s most talented student performers, led by a team of professional directors, designers, and musicians, including Director Susannah Martin, Music Director David Möschler, and Choreographer Janet Collard. Twelve student creative apprentices round out the creative team. The production features a 30-piece live orchestra playing Robert Russell Bennet’s original orchestrations.

Oklahoma! runs July 18–27 at the Pinole Valley High School Theater, 2900 Pinole Valley Road, Pinole. The run consists of three 7 p.m. performances (7/18, 7/19, 7/25, 7/26) and two 2:00 p.m. matinees (7/20 and 7/28).
