45th Anniversary San Francisco Jewish Film Festival July 17 – August 3

The 45th San Francisco Jewish Film Festival (SFJFF) runs from July 17 to August 3 in San Francisco and Oakland (at Landmark’s Piedmont Theater).

SFJFF45 presents 70 films from ten countries and brings many notable premieres to the Bay Area, including eight World Premieres, five International Premieres, three North American Premieres, two United States Premieres, and numerous West Coast, California, and Bay Area Premieres.

Freedom of Expression Award: Daveed Diggs & “Magic Hour

This year’s Freedom of Expression Award will be presented to Oakland native and Tony, Emmy, and Grammy Award winner Daveed Diggs for his body of genre-defying work addressing identity, justice, and imagination. Accompanies a screening of “Magic Hour”.

Regularly priced tickets for programs are $20 general admission, $15 for JFI Members, and $19 for senior, student, and ADA attendees. Special Events (Centerpiece Films, Spotlights, Closing Night, etc.) are $25 for JFI members and $30 for general admission. The Opening Night Film or Film + Party Package is $40–100.

Membership – All Festival Passes
The best way to support SFJFF45 and see all of the year’s must-see films is by purchasing a Jewish Film Institute membership. Members at the Patron level and above are entitled to an All Festival Pass. Passholders receive priority admission to all events and do not need to pre- register for screenings online. All Festival Passes, available exclusively to JFI members, are the best way to support the Jewish Film Institute and experience every event at the Festival.
