Summer Adventures 2025: Enrichment, flexibility, and fun for K–8 students

Piedmont Unified School District is proud to offer Summer Adventures 2025, a dynamic and inclusive summer program designed for students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. Taught by our exceptional PUSD teachers and coaches, this program blends hands-on learning, creative exploration, and active play in a safe and welcoming environment.

Summer Adventures offers a variety of engaging morning classes that spark curiosity and creativity, paired with fun, camp-style afternoon activities like crafts, outdoor play, and hands-on enrichment projects.

Explorers Club: Summer Adventures for 1st–5th Grade
For students entering 1st through 5th grade, our Explorers Club program offers a fun and engaging mix of learning and play. Each morning, students participate in hands-on activities that inspire creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. Afternoon sessions continue the fun with games, crafts, outdoor play, and camp-style enrichment designed to keep students active and connected.

Afternoons shift into a relaxed, camp-style format where students enjoy crafts, games, outdoor adventures, Makerspace projects, and more—all while building friendships and having fun under the guidance of supportive staff.

Welcome to Kindergarten
Designed specifically for incoming TK and Kindergarten students, our Welcome to Kindergarten program provides a warm and gentle introduction to school life. Led by an experienced PUSD kindergarten teacher, children will explore classroom routines, practice foundational skills, and build confidence through stories, songs, games, and hands-on activities.

This joyful program helps young learners feel ready and excited for their first day of school.

Welcome to 6th Grade
For rising middle schoolers, Welcome to 6th Grade helps incoming students confidently transition to Piedmont Middle School. This half-day course, taught by PMS educators, gives students the opportunity to explore the campus, learn about the daily schedule, and start building connections with peers. Students will also organize some of their school supplies and practice navigating a typical day—all in a fun, low-pressure setting.

Highlander Sports Camps
We’re also pleased to offer Highlander Sports Camps, held at Piedmont High School’s athletic facilities, for students in grades K–8. These active, team-based camps provide students with the opportunity to build skills, stay active, and enjoy collaborative play in a positive, supportive environment led by experienced PUSD coaches.
